Senior Salute #15 - Accountability 3

Hold yourself accountable so that nobody else has to.

We finish our fifth week of our 7-week series of quotes based on themes from my book, "Senior Salute," with four more quotes on the theme of "Accountability."

Accountability is about being responsible for your actions. An accountable person can be counted on to do the right thing. People consider you to be accountable if they expect you will take care of what needs to be done for you and your team to be successful, even if nobody is watching. Accountability builds trust between teammates because they know they can count on each other to get their jobs done. 

I wrote "Senior Salute" as a follow-up to my most popular book ever, "Inspiration for the Graduate." Both are gift books for coaches or parents to give to their senior athletes. "Inspiration for the Graduate" makes for a great graduation gift, and "Senior Salute" is a great gift to give on Senior Night or at the End-of-Season Banquet.
