Today we continue the series discussing the building blocks of John Wooden's "Pyramid of Success" and a variety of quotes in support of them. We are into block #14, and it's the second of the two blocks on the fourth tier of the pyramid (or the second tier from the top). This one is devoted to the concept of Confidence.
Wooden said that the two blocks on this tier - Poise & Confidence - are there because all of the other blocks lead to them. If you do not take care of each of the other 12 blocks below them, it will be very hard for you to have success with these two.
Simply put, Confidence comes from being prepared. The more you prepare for an endeavor, the greater chance you have at succeeding at that endeavor. It is also one of the trickiest, most elusive, and most difficult to maintain of all of the concepts we have discussed.
You will hear five quotes in support of the concept of Confidence.
