Scott Rosberg

Today we have another of our "Interview Format" episodes. Today's interview is with Cyndi Vaughn, a dance teacher and dance and drill coach at Kingwood Park High School in Kingwood, TX. Cyndi has a great quote that she talks about, one that I know I would have gotten around to talking about at some point on the podcast if Cyndi (or another coach) wouldn't have. The quote is by President Harry S. Truman - "It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit." As coaches, this is something we preach to our teams all the time. Cyndi does a nice job in our interview of showing how this has applied for her in a few different ways and with a few different groups of people.

Cyndi and I talked about some of the different roles she has at her school, as well as some of her classes. Some of you may be intrigued by her class "Dance for Athletes." If you would like to reach out to her to talk about that class, her other classes, her dance teams, or anything else, she can be reached at Cyndi.Vaughn@humbleisd.net. You can also check out the school's dance and drill website at the Kingwood Park Silver Star Dance site.
