Today we have our second "Interview Episode" where I interview another coach/leader about a quote that s/he found inspirational, motivational, or helpful in some way. Today's guest is Rob Miller from Proactive Coaching. I have known Rob for about 10 years, as I am also a speaker with Proactive Coaching. Rob's resume is varied, and you will hear a bit about it in the interview.
More importantly, you will hear Rob discuss the quote he has selected. It is from the movie "The Shawshank Redemption." The quote was uttered by the character, Andy Dufresne, played by Tim Robbins. He is speaking to Red, played by Morgan Freeman, about getting out of the prison they are in when he says that it comes down to two choices: "Get busy living or get busy dying." In the episode, Rob talks about the impact that quote has had on him and how he has used it. We also talk about various ways that quote can be applied to all of us in our lives.
