Today's quote continues with the topic of leaders and leadership that we talked about in the last three episodes. Three weeks ago, we talked about how people will buy into the leader before they buy into the leader's vision. Two weeks ago, we looked at the true power that great leaders have - the ability to empower others to succeed and to lead. And last week, we talked about the idea that leadership needs to be developed and worked on every single day.
Today we talk about how leaders need to be the best models of the standards of the teams they lead. This is an extremely important concept for those of you at the top of an organization, but it is also a very important point for you to drive home to those people in your organization who want to be looked up to as leaders, such as team captains.
