Today's episode is a minor departure from the direction I was going in the last two episodes. In those episodes, I was talking about quotes that I took from my gift book for graduating athletes called, "Inspiration for the Graduate."
However, the departure today is not too much of a departure, as I took today's quote from my brand new, hot-off-the-press other gift book for senior athletes called "Senior Salute." I just received my first shipment of the books, so I thought I would make you aware of the book and the Book Launch Special I am running on it at this time by talking about one of the quotes in the book.
The quote is from the chapter on "Teamwork," and it is by legendary baseball player, Babe Ruth. It gets at the heart of the importance of all players playing together, no matter how much talent they may have individually. Late in the episode, I also sneak in a second, extremely popular quote on teamwork by Bang Gae.
