Napoleon Bonaparte & Damian Lillard - People Trade What They Want Most
Show Notes

Today's quote comes to us from French general and emperor, Napoleon Bonaparte. However, I heard the quote from NBA superstar, Damian Lillard, of the Portland Trailblazers.

Last week, I talked about a quote by Jon Gordon that I heard on his "Power of Positive Summit." I also heard today's quote on the summit during Damian Lillard's presentation.

His presentation was great, and he said this quote as he was explaining how, as a young man in high school and early on in college, he would all too often not do the things he knew he needed to do to become the player and person he wanted to be. He said from the moment he heard this quote, it changed him, and he started progressing toward the success he sought at a much faster rate.

This quote is a great one for all of us, whether we are coaches/athletes, teachers/students,  parents/children, or leaders/followers. Love this quote and the message it provides us!
