Today's quote comes to us from a more obscure source. His name is Howard Hendricks. He was a professor at the Dallas Theological Seminary. I read the quote in a great book by Mark Miller called, "Smart Leadership."
The quote is actually not even by Howard Hendricks. While Hendricks is a professor himself, his quote comes from one of his college professors, who, unfortunately, doesn't get named as the originator of the quote. It's a shame because this quote is so powerful that I would like to be able to attribute it to the exact source.
