Trent Dilfer - How You Do Small Things
Show Notes

This might be the most important quote I've ever done on the show. Okay, that's probably a stretch and a bit of hyperbole, but I'm not sure that it is. It's also not meant to discredit all the great quotes that I have talked about or that our guests have talked about. It's just that this quote is all about the discipline to do everything in your life the right way so as to maximize your chances for success and your impact in the world.

It comes to us from former NFL quarterback and current high school football coach, Trent Dilfer. I'm sure Dilfer himself would tell you he didn't come up with the quote because I have heard him say something to the effect of, "You know what they say..." each time I've heard him say it. Still, he's the guy I first heard it said in this way, so I am giving him credit for at least bringing it into my life the way he said it.

It's a great quote about the importance of taking care of all of the supposed little things in life that are ultimately huge if we are going to be our best.
